Welcome to Ysgol Glan Morfa's website

We extend a warm welcome to you to Ysgol Glan Morfa’s website. Ysgol Glan Morfa is a designated Welsh school which serves the town of Abergele and the surrounding area along the north Wales coast.

The school was opened in 1957 with seven pupils in attendance, but now, we have over 250 children coming through our doors, with more and more parents seeing the benefits and advantages of bilingual education.

Our main aim is to ensure our pupils are fully bilingual by the end of Key Stage 2, and that to a high standard. We also aim to develop the complete child – educationally, culturally, socially, spiritually and physically, and that with a smile on their faces and Welsh on their lips.

We are extremely proud of the high standard of attainment our pupils achieve and the success they gain in extracurricular activities in fields such as sport, music, drama and art.
